About bulbs
Our bulbs are grown in Canada and carefully selected for their quality and suitability to the local climate.
Bulbs should be planted between mid-September and late October, before the frost sets in.
1. Dig a hole 15 cm deep, about 3 times the height of the bulb.
2. Place the bulb with the tip facing up and the roots facing down.
3. Leave a distance of 10 to 15 cm between each bulb.
4. Cover with soil and press down lightly.
5. Water generously after planting to encourage root growth.
- No need for regular watering, except during prolonged periods of drought.
- After flowering, allow the foliage to turn yellow before cutting it back: this allows the bulb to recharge for the following year.
- They can be left in the ground for several years, or dug up after flowering and stored in a cool place for the following fall.
